About GRCF

The Gulf Research Center Foundation was officially established in Geneva, Switzerland on 21st June 2007 by Mr. Abdulaziz Sager. It was enlisted into the Commercial Registry on 4th July 2007 under the law of the Canton of Geneva.

The Foundation is a non-profit organization which aims at the gathering and the dissemination of knowledge about the Gulf region. Intensive scholarly research on political, economic, social and security issues is a key activity to achieve this goal.

Through its association with the Gulf Research Center in Dubai the Foundation's activities will include workshops, regular conferences and media presentations. In particular print media plays a central role here and the Foundation will produce and disseminate publications with the aim to promote relevant and useful information on the Gulf region. The Foundation's public events' primary function is to promote and facilitate communication and dialogue between citizens of the Gulf region, notably through media and the above mentioned conferences and workshops.

Several academic programs will also be an important part of the Gulf Research Center Foundation's work. A library on the GCC countries shall be established in Geneva and several academic education programs are to be promoted. As a result, this can encourage the enrolment of students from the GCC and other Arab countries.
